Let’s Jam is here to spread a little love and comfort through every jar.

Reason Behind the Jam

Let's Jam was inspired by Appalachian jam/jelly makers. For years, the women of the Lemon family would preserve fruits through jamming and share them with others as an act of love. Exploring additional support for the body from a plant-based source became the focus after several family members began to face tough health challenges in their lives. By infusing family recipes with the cannabis plant, Let's Jam is delivering the comfort and yumminess of a homemade jam with the added benefits of the plant. This legacy-building, woman-owned, woman-inspired company is out to spread a little love and comfort through every jar.

Jam Maker’s History

Hi,

My name is Cassie Lemon, founder and owner of the Let’s Jam, cannajam company, infusing family recipes with CBD. I personally started using CBD while working in education. I found the stress and anxiety was drastically affecting my health. I started making major life changes including the incorporation of CBD in my life. CBD served as a resource to my body as I continued to make the needed changes in my life to restore balance in my body. After experiencing the changes and support the cannabis plant provided, I took a deeper dive into studying and learning more about the plant. The idea of infusing various cannabinoids into my family jam recipes felt like it was a way to introduce the cannabis plant to my family and others in a way that reminds you of the comfort and enjoyment of a jam. It is a way to help me introduce the plant to my family and others by incorporating it into their diet verses having the feeling of “adding” something else in the body to potentially bring balance or relief. After experimenting in my body and seeing the changes from incorporating this plant into my diet, I wanted to be able to share this resource with more people.

Terry “Mama” Lemon, Inspiration, Recipe Holder

Terry "Mama" Lemon, the woman behind Mama's Strawberry, is known for her strawberry jam. From picking the berry to canning the jam, she would have her hand in every part of the process. She would make as much jam as she could during strawberry season so she could gift them to people throughout the year. Her jam making days have slowed over the years allowing her to have more time to get her "jam" on with the new version of her classic recipe.
